OtherGuides lets the reader experience what other travel sites prefers to keep silent about.

OtherGuides is a project by Hans Jungerius (b. 1969, the Netherlands). He is an artist, photographer, writer and explorer. His work investigates overlooked and often forgotten places, from former military sites and industrial landscapes to motorways and urban fringes.

Through photography, books, expeditions and artistic projects, Jungerius reveals the hidden histories and unexpected qualities of everyday environments, inviting us to look at familiar surroundings with fresh eyes.
